New
Rhythms Foundation (NRF) is pleased to offer a very special training/accreditation
program. Expert teachers from diverse fields will combine their ideas,
attitudes and skills to build a skilled resource pool of individuals
serving special needs populations. In keeping with the concept of bookmobiles,
DrumobileTM resources (drums, percussion instruments, drum stands and
adaptive tools) will be available to facilitators accredited by NRF.
Students can match their interests to ten specific focus modules and elect to enroll in the entire course or on an individual module basis. To accommodate residents of other regions, a four day program is scheduled from Friday evening, November 14, 2003 through Monday afternoon November 17th in San Rafael, California. In addition to workshops, practical applications will be offered for three months at various Bay Area care facilities, allowing students an opportunity to receive personal mentoring while facilitating special populations.
